Snooker Bar Nickel Alloy Ferrule
The end of the shaft has a cuff known as the ferrule which is used to hold the cue tip in place and to bear the brunt of impact with the cue ball so that the less resilient shaft wood does not split. Nickel alloy is the latest ferrule material for snooker cues, which has great advantage in anti-oxidation compared to brass. These nickel alloy ferrules are suitable for all styles of felt, leather and laminated stick on cue tips.
